We also adhere to the principles of applicable data protection and privacy laws in maintaining the confidentiality of information provided to us by our Members and guests. We will collect, use, and disclose PII in a responsible manner and only as necessary to deliver the services we provide. This policy affirms our commitment to help our Members and guests understand what information we may collect, how we will safeguard it, and how we may use or disclose it.
Types of PII we may collect include your name, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, spouse and children’s names and ages, birth dates, hobbies, and preferences. We may also collect PII related to health conditions that require our attention such as dietary allergies. We may collect and process information that you provide by completing applications, taking surveys, visiting our website, and corresponding with us. We may retain the details of your site visit, including but not limited to traffic, location, web logs, and other resources that you may access. You may choose which communications you receive from us and whether you provide PII. However, failure to provide such information may affect our ability to provide service.

Security and Video Cameras
Information stored on our servers are protected through the use of firewalls and other safeguards. We exercise commercially reasonable precautions to protect your personal information stored electronically or otherwise. Your personal information will only be viewed by those who have a reasonable need to do so. Our computer network may only be accessed with passwords that are changed on a regular basis. Remote access requires multi-factor authentication. We may use contractors to perform services on our behalf such as accountants, consultants, and network support. These parties may have limited access to PII. In addition, the Club utilizes a security system that includes video cameras and a license plate reader. The system is in use throughout the Club premises 24 hours a day, and video and related data may be stored and/or disseminated to: i. Law enforcement or governmental agencies; or ii. Third parties in accordance with applicable laws and/or court orders; or iii. Third parties in satisfaction of the Club’s contractual obligations (i.e., disclosure to insurance company(ies) and/or underwriter(s) in connection with an insurance claim). By entering the Club premises and using Club facilities, you and your guests are deemed to have consented to the Club’s use of the security system, video cameras, and license plate reader, and use/storage/dissemination of the related video and data in accordance with the foregoing.
The Port Royal Club website is hosted by a third party. You have been assigned a username and password to access the “Members Only” portion of our website. It is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. The only information we collect through our website is submitted by you voluntarily. You consent to our use of information you submit for the intended purpose. Our website may contain links to other websites (like the link/site used for dining reservations). We do not assume responsibility for the privacy policies, practices, or actions of third parties. Nor can we guarantee that information submitted on our website will not be intercepted or misused by third parties.
